Appointment Policies

At Kinrise Medical Centre, we value your time and strive to keep our clinic running smoothly and on schedule. We understand that your time is important, and we do our best to minimize wait times for all our patients. To help us stay on time, please arrive promptly or be available by phone at your scheduled appointment time. Please allow up to a 1-hour buffer for scheduled appointments due to the unpredictable nature of healthcare visits and unexpected emergencies. During your visit, we will do our best to address all your health concerns. However, if there are multiple issues to discuss, your doctor may prioritize the most urgent matters (1-2) and schedule a follow-up appointment to ensure everything is addressed safely and appropriately. If you arrive late, your appointment may need to be shortened. When possible, your doctor may offer a brief 5-minute squeeze-in appointment. If you are more than 10 minutes late, we may need to reschedule the appointment.

Cancellations and Missed Appointments

We require at least 24 hours’ notice for all appointment cancellations. Patients who cancel with less than 24 hours’ notice or do not show up for a booked appointment will be documented as a no-show. For phone appointments, please note that your doctor may call you up to one hour before or after your scheduled time. The doctor will try calling several times and leave a voicemail if they are unable to reach you. If you cannot be reached during this time, you will be marked as a no-show. Patients with two no-shows within a year will be charged a fee.
